Poultry lighting
CHARACTERISTICS OF CHICKEN EYES
Chicken eyes are different from human eyes. Chickens are tetrapyramidal animals that can see ultraviolet, red, blue, and green light. The human eye can only see the spectrum of three colors: red, blue, and green. The special characteristics of chicken eyes make the spectral sensitivity and visible spectrum of chickens very different from those of human eyes. Under the same intensity of two different light sources, poultry and humans respond differently. Therefore, LED poultry lighting is different from ordinary commercial lighting. When designing and selecting poultry lamps, the physiological characteristics of poultry should be fully considered. Poultry are very sensitive to light. Poultry growth is affected by light intensity, exposure time, and light spectrum. There are many inputs to farming technology, among which, poultry raised under the right lighting can increase meat production, egg production, and protein content.
SUITABLE FOR BROILERS 5000K/6000K
Blu-ray: 5000K contains more Blu-ray. Blue light will make the chickens feel comfortable and psychologically calm. Especially when the farmer catches the chickens, the chickens will not be frightened, run around or fly around, raising the chicken texture.
Red light: Red light can stimulate the chicken’s food intake and weight gain.
Green light: in early growth. Green light diffuses by aggravating skeletal muscle satellite cells. promote chicken skeletal muscle growth.
SUITABLE FOR LAYING HENS
Blue light: Under blue light, the flock will feel comfortable and psychologically calm. Thereby reducing chicken pecking and allowing chickens to grow healthily.
Red light: 2700K lights contain more red light. Red light can increase the food intake of chickens, stimulate the movement of chickens, and accelerate the secretion of hormones. Thereby increasing egg production.
Green light: During early growth, green light promotes chicken growth and improves egg quality by increasing the proliferation of skeletal muscle satellite cells.
SUITABLE FOR BREEDER 3000K
Blue light: It can make chickens feel comfortable, psychologically calm, not impatient, and reduce chicken pecking.
Red light: It can stimulate the appetite of chickens, increase food intake, and promote the breeding of chickens in healthy growth during the brooding period.
Green light: During early growth, green light accelerates the proliferation of skeletal muscle satellite cells, promotes chicken growth, and improves egg quality.
